Connecting Beyond the Circle

For Leadership Donors

Women United is proud to present the Connecting Beyond the Circle series, an expansion of our Connecting Circle series. While Connecting Circles are intimate gatherings for 6-12 women, Beyond the Circle events feature female leaders at sites that can host larger groups.

Additionally, Connecting Beyond the Circle is offered to all Women United members registered as giving $600 or more annually to the Tulsa Area United Way.

The objective of this series is to provide members with opportunities to further develop their personal, professional, and community building skills with cutting edge topics. Attendees can look forward to networking, mentoring advice, and professional development opportunities as well.

Female Philanthropy: Women Helping Women

Thank you to all the Leadership Women United members who attended the Spotlight on Female Philanthropy event in Oct. 2018. Participants heard from a panel of women philanthropists from a range of industries on what inspires them to give and how women offer a unique perspective to the philanthropy landscape. More than 50 Women United members and guests attended the Connecting Beyond the Circle, Advocacy 101: Making Connections with Local Legislators, to learn about best practices and effective strategies for women to make meaningful connections with our local legislators. More than 40 Women United members and guests attended the most recent Connecting Beyond the Circle, Advocacy 101 Boot Camp: How One Person Can Make a Difference, for a discussion on how to effectively engage and advocate at the local and state level for laws and policy objectives.
