NexTulsa Nomination Process

Unlike other leadership programs, this course is free to participants, but limited to 15. The competition makes it very hard to make selections. The program is currently ready to launch into its sixth year.

The nomination process is as follows:

• Local leaders, the Tulsa Area United Way board of directors, TAUW partner agency executive directors and neXtulsa alumni are notified that the nomination process is open. This usually occurs in August.
• These individuals then nominate prospects for the program.
• Once the nomination window closes, the neXtulsa leadership notifies the individuals that they were nominated and invites them to submit an application for the program.
• The selection committee then meets to determine who will be offered a placement in the program.
